Welcome to Principal Well. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Principal Well app and website (together, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What Principal Well is
Principal Well is a wellness and restoration companion designed for school leaders. It offers journaling, reflective prompts, calming audio, guided breathing and movement, recipes, and other tools intended to support your well-being. It is a self-help wellness product — it is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or professional therapeutic services.
2. Not a substitute for professional care
The Service is for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, nutritional, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified professional with any questions about your health. If you are experiencing a crisis or medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Principal Well is offered as a paid subscription at the price displayed at the time of purchase (currently US $19.97 per month), plus any applicable taxes.
- Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues through the end of the current paid period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll work with you in good faith.
- We may change subscription pricing in the future; any change will apply only to billing periods after we've given you notice.
5. Your account and content
Most of what you create in Principal Well is stored privately on your own device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your device and any account credentials secure. The personal content you write remains yours.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Service or its content, and not to use it in any unlawful way or in a manner that could harm the Service or other users.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its text, design, audio, written reflections, and the Principal Well and Principal Realities names and marks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service while your subscription is active. Personal reflections that you write remain yours.
8. Messages sent through the Service
Some features let you send content (such as a permission slip) to others. You are responsible for the content you choose to send and for having the right to contact the recipient. Messages are delivered on your behalf from hello@principalwell.com.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular result for your well-being.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Principal Well and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
